Ever wondered who'd win in a fight between a boxer and a MMA fighter?
It's a question which is hard to quantify - given the fact that it's two different types of combat sport - but one which fans have nonetheless attempted to solve numerous times.
Which is why probably Tommy Fury and UFC heavyweight fighter Tom Aspinall sought to settle the debate in a recent YouTube video.
Their method of choice while carrying out this highly scientific piece of research? Everyone's favourite arcade game, the punch machine.
Shared in one of Aspinall's vlogs, he and Fury headed down to their local gym and started smashing out a range of punches, headbutts and elbow jabs.
And there seemed to be one clear winner.
Explaining the rules, Aspinall explained that he and Fury would be using their left arm for punches, as the Love Island alum was recovering from an injury at the time.
The first round arguably ended in Fury's favour, with the boxer's blows landing scores of 813, 827 and 825 points, averaging at about 822. Meanwhile Aspinall recorded scores of 755, 816 and 843 points, which gives an average of 805.
Although he did get the highest overall score, so it depends on which way you're judging it.
Next up saw the pair slinging their most lethal elbow possible at the punch bag and seeing how much damage they could do. Trying to get best angle when elbowing the machine proved to be a little more difficult for the pair, with Aspinall declaring that he felt much more 'awkward' when trying to land blows.
And unfortunately for the mixed martial artist, Fury was able to get more force behind his jabs.
The penultimate round saw the pair forego using arms altogether in favour of the classic headbutt, which saw Aspinall claw one round back.
Although we don't recommend you heading down to your local arcade and trying to recreate the challenge.
The final challenge involved power-slapping the bag for good measure, awarding Fury the overall victory when it came to battering a punching machine.
Although I'd wager that most of us would prefer to never find ourselves on the wrong end of a right hook from either fighter.
This isn't the only time the pair have teamed up to participate in viral combat challenges, with Aspinall leaving the boxer in agony during a 'dead leg' challenge.
However there seems to be now love lost between Fury and Aspinall, as the pair have known each other for a number of years.
The MMA star even received mentoring from Tommy's older brother Tyson and coaching from their uncle Peter Fury, so it's pretty fair to say that he's a friend of the family.
As long as he doesn't permanently injure Tommy in one of the viral challenges.
