Netflix fans are demanding a series that has racked up some impressive watch time is saved from being canceled.
It's not every day you happen to stumble across a TV series that you just can't walk away from and have to binge in one sitting - but that makes it even more heartbreaking when production seemingly pulls the plug on any further episodes.
According to scores of Netflix viewers, that's exactly what happened with an American comedy-drama show that they say was 10 out of 10 and made up of a 'hot cast doing hot things' - which explains its staggering 323 million hours of watch time.
In case it passed you by, the stans are talking about Obliterated, which came out on the streaming platform in November 2023, and was promptly... well, obliterated into oblivion, after just one season of eight episodes in February last year.

The move has stumped its viewers, particularly as it became one of Netflix's most-watched shows between July and December that year, according to figures released by the platform.
It spent a whopping six weeks in the Netflix Top 10 series category, hitting the No1 spot in just the second week.
Starring, Shelley Hennig, Alyson Gorske, Nick Zano and Kimi Rutledge, the show follows the story of a joint special-operations team that are called to action to stop a deadly terrorist network from blowing up Las Vegas.
There's sex, drugs and alcohol aplenty in their celebratory party afterwards, however, it turns sour when in the stupor of intoxication, they realize they neutralized a fake nuclear bomb and have to find the legitimate one and save the world from disaster, all while a little worse for wear.
With no further indication that Netflix will see the show make a comeback, fans are still mourning the loss.
Taking to Reddit, one fan ranted: "What the hell Netflix, you cancelled one of the most fun shows ever.
"Alright, this is no White Lotus or Severance or whatever, and the best part is... it never tries to be. This is one of those cheesy, over-the-top, brainless action shows that is sexy, funny and addictive. It's a throwback to shows I watched as a kid, Airwolf, Miami Vice, Knight Rider... the 80s baby."
The disgruntled fan continued to describe it as quintessentially American, and is dumbfounded that Netflix stopped production.
"The cast is hot, doing hot things, while saving U.S. from a nuclear detonation. What's more American than that?" they continued.
Among the hefty list of things they loved about the show includes its somewhat 'cliche' storyline ('but still decent'), 'deep philosophical s***', 'genuine twists' and 'a lot of zingers in the dialogue' like references to Rambo and Mission Impossible.

"Characters, Ava, McKnight, Trunky, Tech Chick, Haggerty, Paul, Gomez were all likeable af, and the cast really delivered. Does help that everyone is hot," they added.
"Some people say this show was too raunchy, but nothing a generation that grew up watching American Pie and Hangover would find shocking. And the action was a blast, there are car chases, car crashes, helicopter chases, guns, physical fights, knife fights hell yeah. So imo, this show has a lot of gas left in the tank."
Dozens have also joined the battlecry for a second season, saying they likewise 'loved it' and it is a 'damn shame' it was cut so soon.
Obliterated is available to stream on Netflix now.
